Responsibilities

  • Experience working on a large scale website that was designed and architected from the ground up inside WCM
  • Resources must have strong experience with WCM tool and personalization and able to create templates to host WCM content
  • The selected candidate must have demonstrated the ability to build and configure WebSphere Portal components including, navigation, menu, and content view portlets
  • Develop and create WebSphere WCM managed assets including, WCM authoring and presentation templates, workflows, and content libraries
  • Demonstrated ability to create content, manage content portal pages, and creation of the site framework
  • Possess web design skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and also abilities to create taxonomies and categories
  • Also must have the ability to configure WCM security and configure syndications
  • Experience configuring and tuning portal WCM for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Experience using WebDAV for managing pages and static content
  • Experience using JQuery - WAS7 and WebSphere Portal 7 - HTML5

Basic Requirements

  • A strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (frameworks Bootstrap 3, Backbone, jQuery), and how to manage these components inside WCM
  • Ability to configure WCM security and configure syndications
  • Experience with JSON and RESTful web services
  • Understanding of modular techniques used inside WCM to manage components as the project evolves
  • Attention to detail and absolute focus on the quality of work
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
