Responsibilities

  • Good understanding of REST and SOAP API standards
  • Implement client's API requirements like security, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications, etc. using Apigee
  • Knowledge of existing API Testing Tools (Postman, SoapUI, or any equivalent tools)
  • Create custom policies in Java, JavaScript, Node js, Python, etc.., in Apigee
  • Coordinate with Google for any platform issues
  • Building the CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Azure ADO) to deploy the proxies in various environments
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the proxies deployed in pre-prod and production environments
  • Good communication skills and a desire to work with others
