Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SQL databases modified for SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FICO to support business operations.
  • Write, optimize and debug complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and report critical data within the SAP environment.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams to understand pricing, sales, and finance data flows, ensuring accurate validation of pricing tables.
  • Analyze SAP table structures independently to enable proactive data correlation and integrity checks.
  • Improve database performance to eliminate back-ups and ensure fast, reliable SAP transaction processing.
  • Design and implement data models and schemas aligned with SAP business processes to support timely reporting.
  • Work with SAP ABAP developers to integrate SQL solutions with custom SAP programs and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate SQL tasks and streamline data retrieval processes for improving efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues affecting SAP applications.
  • Maintain documentation of database designs, query logic, and performance tuning activities to support SAP system enhancements.
