Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Informatica components (PowerCenter, PowerExchange, IDMC/IICS) across Linux/Unix, Windows, and Azure environments.
  • Monitor system performance, workflows, disk space, and infrastructure metrics via automated health checks and maintain the check scripts/dashboards.
  • Manage production incidents, changes, and service requests in ServiceNow (or equivalent), ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Resolve performance issues within data warehousing and other mission-critical environments, collaborating with database teams and developers to ensure reliability, recoverability, and security.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery solutions with defined RTO/RPO targets for mission-critical Informatica environments.
  • Recommend system changes or capacity scaling to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage certificates, perform health checks, and communicate or escalate maintenance activities, outages, or high-severity issues in alignment with SLAs.
  • Document root cause analysis(RCAs) and track repeated issues in problem records, and enable trend analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain SOPs documentation, record deviations where required, and share knowledge with internal teams.
  • Deliver daily status updates on key platform components, including PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and IDMC/IICS, along with related Azure services.
