Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and maintain file transfer servers (FTP, SFTP, FTPS) to support secure enterprise data transfer.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve FTP connectivity, access, and permission issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Implement and manage secure file transfer practices, including SFTP and FTPS, to protect sensitive data.
  • Design and automate recurring file transfer workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with IT, application, and business teams to integrate file transfer solutions into enterprise applications and workflows.
  • Monitor FTP activity, logs, and performance to detect issues early and proactively address potential risks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, file transfer processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance, and enforce secure transfer practices for teams working with FTP-based integrations.
