Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute SAP system refreshes, client copies, and landscape harmonization activities across environments.
  • Manage SAP kernel updates, support package stacks, and compatibility checks in coordination with functional and development teams.
  • Oversee backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures to meet availability and recovery objectives.
  • Implement SAP security administration in coordination with security teams, including hardening, audit readiness, and compliance controls.
  • Support SAP BTP connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector and ensure runtime stability for extensions and integrations.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams, including hyperscaler teams when applicable, to align SAP operations with platform standards and capacity needs.
  • Maintain technical documentation for SAP landscapes, BTP configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Support cutover activities during system go-lives, upgrades, and migrations with controlled risk management.
  • Provide operational support during incidents, including impact analysis, escalation handling, and post incident review.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP operations through standardization, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Perform performance tuning and monitoring using standard tools and support upgrades and system maintenance activities.
