Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient EDI solutions to streamline logistics and supply chain transactions.
  • Manage the integration of EDI systems, ensuring seamless connectivity between internal platforms and external business partners.
  • Configure, test, and validate EDI messages, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notifications.
  • Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams to assess business needs and establish EDI requirements.
  • Develop process maps aligning business workflows with EDI standards to enable real-time, accurate data transfer.
  • Gather functional and technical specifications for new EDI projects and system enhancements.
  • Diagnose and resolve EDI-related issues, proactively addressing transmission errors and discrepancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, carriers, and customers to troubleshoot EDI concerns.
  • Ensure the prompt resolution of critical EDI disruptions affecting supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Conduct thorough testing of EDI transactions to confirm successful integration and data accuracy.
