Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain structured ETL pipelines in IBM DataStage and build optimized ELT processes in Google BigQuery.
  • Build and optimize ELT processes in Google BigQuery to improve query performance and cost-efficient resource use.
  • Support data migration from on-prem systems into GCP, managing schema alignment, transformation logic, and end-to-end validation.
  • Translate technical and analytical requirements into clear design documentation aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Enhance the performance of DataStage jobs and BigQuery SQL scripts with focused debugging, load analysis, and query optimization.
  • Manage testing and production support cycles for ETL/ELT pipelines, resolving data issues through structured root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate requirements into compliant technical solutions.
