Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing WordPress multisite parent and child themes to support scalable enterprise web platforms.
  • Develop custom WordPress plugins and reusable content components aligned with project and business requirements.
  • Build and extend Gutenberg blocks to support flexible and scalable content authoring experiences.
  • Configure and manage Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields to support structured content management.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange and functionality enhancements.
  • Implement responsive web design practices using CSS frameworks, SASS preprocessing, JavaScript, and jQuery for optimized user experiences.
  • Support local WordPress development, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting activities across development environments.
  • Utilize Git-based version control workflows including pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.
  • Utilize Broadcast Plugin (or similar tools) to distribute and synchronize content across multiple sites.
  • Deliver high-quality and maintainable code within defined project timelines while following SDLC and development best practices.
