Responsibilities

  • Analyze ATC and custom code migration results to identify S/4HANA compatibility issues and define remediation strategies for ECC conversion projects.
  • Review and adapt ECC custom code by replacing obsolete tables, function modules, and unsupported programming constructs with S/4HANA-compliant alternatives.
  • Support SPDD and SPAU adjustment activities to ensure custom developments remain aligned following system upgrades and conversions.
  • Assess RICEF objects, custom enhancements, and technical artifacts to ensure migration readiness and compatibility with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to interpret technical findings, recommend remediation approaches, and resolve code-level conversion challenges.
  • Apply HANA-optimized development practices, modern ABAP syntax, and performance tuning techniques to improve application efficiency.
  • Develop and support SAP extensions using CDS Views, RAP, OData services, and Fiori technologies where applicable.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot migration issues, and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
  • Promote code quality, continuous improvement, and adherence to SAP S/4HANA best practices while independently managing assigned technical deliverables.
